New Prison Inspector

The Ministry of Justice has announced that Nicholas Hardwick will replace Dame Anne Owers as the Chief Inspector of Prisons. Mr Hardwick was the Chair of the Independent Police Complaints Commission and, as the new inspector, takes up an important position as the observer of how prisons manage their visiting systems.
APF has enjoyed working closely with Ms Owers. To read her column in the new issue of Action News contact Jessica Berens.
